The Statue of Unity is the massive statue in the world build in the name of independence activist Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel with a height of 182 meters (597 ft), located on the banks of the River Narmada, overlooking Sardar Sarovar Dam, in the state of Gujarat, India. The statue inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 31, 2018, on the occasion of Sardar Patel’s 143rd birth anniversary.
